• The Washington Wizards beat the Atlanta Hawks, 109 – 101 to go 2 up in the series.  Atlanta led with 5 minutes to go but a strong surge from Beal in the last quarter brought them home.   Wall and Beal combined for 63 points.
  • The Rockets beat the Thunder again 115 – 111.  Westbrook goes for 51 points and a Triple Double in the loss.  The Thunder shoot poorly and Westbrook’s supporting cast are disappointing again.  The Rockets stick to what they are good at with an eight man rotation.
  • Golden State destroy Portland 110 – 81, keeping Portland’s backcourt of Lillard and McCollum in check.  The Warriors get contributions from throughout their roster.

 

JR Smith is listed as questionable for Game 3 on Thursday night at Indianapolis as the Cavaliers look to take a 3-0 lead over the Indiana Pacers.  He hurt his leg at some point in the first half of Game 2, said he’ll “absolutely” be ready for Game 3. However, the Cavs aren’t willing to go that far just yet and will likely wait until game time before clearing him. Smith said an MRI “came back fine” and that treatment should help him heal.

Memphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley says he and his teammates will pay the $30,000 fine their coach, David Fizdale, received for criticizing the officiating after the team’s Game 2 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
