Path So Far: Beat 48th seed Above The Rim with 75% of the votes. Beat 16th seed Miracle with 77.8% of the votes.

The #1 seed has had an easyish road so far, a perk of being the top seed I guess. Definitely nothing as tough as the #17 seed The Karate Kid, a family favourite and one with new life thanks to the Cobra Kai series. Interesting to see if our top seed continues on after this one.

34. Cool Runnings vs 15. Field Of Dreams

Path So Far: Beat the 50th seed Lords of Dogtown with 53.3% of the votes. Beat 47th seed Blades of Glory with 55.6% of the votes.

Whilst Field of Dreams (Costner’s lone remaining of his five appearances) is the higher seed, it is going to have a hard time beating Cool Runnings, which took out the #2 seed Raging Bull in the last round. All the momentum gotta be with the lower seed on this one.

30. Rocky vs 46. Talladega Nights

Path So Far: Destroyed the 19th seed Rudy with 80% of the votes. Also destroyed 14th seed Slap Shot with 93.3% of the votes.

While Rocky has the more impressive victory, beating the 3rd seed The Wrestler convincingly, Talladega Nights has absolutely dog-walked both of it’s opponents, including getting the biggest victory in Round Two. This one should be much, much closer though.

51. The Waterboy vs 13. Warrior

This matchup worries me. The Waterboy already eliminated one of my all-time favourite sports movies in Creed and now comes up against another of my all-time favourites. Warrior also hasn’t really impressed so far, squeaking through it’s two matchups against not the greatest of opponents. I love Adam Sandler, but I will be heartbroken if Warrior is eliminated.
