And now from a forgotten piece of brilliance in the NBA Playoffs to a much more memorable moment in time, that is often recalled for all the wrong reasons.

I was watching this game with my old man back in 2004.  It was one of those typical Pistons v Pacers games of those years.  Rick Carlisle had just gone from head coach of the Pistons over to the Pacers and both rosters featured some of the toughest players in the NBA at the time.

I didn’t know what the hell was happening, I couldn’t believe it, Artest had jumped into the crowd, the commentators were in shock.  And the game did not finish!  I was pissed off that we (the Pistons) couldn’t come back and secure the win.
